The Event

Competition in the job market has grown increasingly fierce, with the number of overseas students returning to China for employment rising year by year. The Career Guide series is designed to help recent graduates and current students gain a clearer understanding of the domestic job market, adapt to the Chinese workplace, and enhance their employability.

On December 20, Guoqing Xu, Harvard Business School alumnus, Wall Street veteran, and Founder & Chairman of Chainshine Financial Training Group, will be joined by Songtao Yang and Tao Jiang, General Managers of Chainshine Financial Training Group. They will continue to guide participants through three key areas: the fundamentals of financial investment, financial modeling, and résumé enhancement for job-seekers pursuing careers in the financial industry.

Guoqing Xu
Founder & Chairman, Chainshine Financial Training Group

Guoqing Xu is the Founder and Chairman of Chainshine Financial Training Group, which was established in 1998 and has provided practical skills training such as valuation modeling for top-tier investment banks and private equity firms in China. Before founding Chainshine, he spent nearly a decade at J.P. Morgan and Lehman Brothers in New York, Hong Kong, and Beijing. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the School of Economics at Peking University in 1986 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1993.

Songtao Yang
General Manager, Department of Investment and Finance Training, Chainshine Financial Training Group

Songtao Yang, a CFA charter holder, has instructed courses on valuation modeling, financial statement analysis, and mergers & acquisitions for investment banks, private equity firms, and listed companies. He has participated in model-building projects across equity, debt, and project finance transactions for both domestic and international clients. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University.

Tao Jiang
General Manager, Department of Investment and Finance Research, Chainshine Financial Training Group

Tao Jiang graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Automation and a Master‘s degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University. He has instructed courses on valuation modeling, financial statement analysis, and mergers & acquisitions for numerous investment banks, private equity firms, and companies. He has also contributed to model building projects in equity, debt, and project finance transactions for both Chinese and international clients.
